TRAUMA

You long to move forward, but something holds you back. You may be struggling with challenging life circumstances, strained relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or coping day to day.  You may not know exactly what the problem is or how to make it better.  Past traumatic experiences can further complicate the way you see yourself and how you relate to others. Childhood trauma, abuse, and/or neglect can often result in difficulties trusting others, depression and/or anxiety, shame and self-blame, and feeling like you do not deserve love or happiness.

You hold the strength within yourself to take back your life.  You deserve to love and be loved!  You deserve to discover how to be truly present in your current relationships without the past getting in the way. Together we can explore the impact of past experiences, where you are now, where you’d like to be, and how to get there.

My experiences include working with individuals who have struggled to overcome childhood abuse and neglect. In particular, I enjoy working with adults who were raised by narcissists and suffered emotional neglect and abuse.  I have helped people with the following symptoms and issues related to trauma:
